On Monday,I taught at a conversational Malay workshop for a primary school somewhere in Yishun. Two makciks who were also going to teach at the workshop picked me up at the yishun mrt station.I got to know that they teach these workshops for the fun of it since they had nothing to do at home..hehe taitailah...They also told me that the money was good. For one hour we will be paid 20 dollars whooho....
We had to wait for Mr Jaffar to take our attendence. He is pretty cool guy..do you know he is the first malay guy to graduate with a bachelor's degree from Chinese language and literature course at NTU?wow impressive huh
Hmm then there was this woman about 30 ++ i think she was wearing a thick office coat in the very very very hot weather...she shooked hands with everyone ...she handed a tupperware filled with cookies and told me that her son made it..lol still far away from hari raya and he already staeted making!!..nobody took it except me...hmm why ah?Then she handed out her namecards to everyone...there was her picture on it ...it stated that she is a house agent..lol making business opportunity ..but lol sorry i really got no money to buy a house...not even that shiny dress i want at this fashion sob sob
The kids were attentive but some of them drifted off after some time..1 hour went by quite fast...uggh I really hope they learnt something
